ANOTHER cyber day assignment

A Delphi detail.JPG

The temple of Apollo was a lot like the temple of Hera, except made of stone. It had 15 columns on EACH SIDE and was constructed out of limestone. The temple shown in the picture is in Delphi, Greece on the side of Mount Parnassus. Not much of the temple is still in tact today.

Temple of Hephaestos

The temple of Hephestus is in Athens, Greece. It is also known as the Theseion. It is in very good condition, and even has some of the original colorful painting on the inside and has a lot of marble in some places.

The Parthenon

The Parthenon is, in my opinion, one of the greatest ancient buildings ever built. It is, without doubt, the most iconic Greek building. Inside is a HUGE statue of Athena, goddess of wisdom. It is located in Athens, Greece. It measures 101ft x 288ft. The Parthenon was finished in 432 BC
