BB King, an amazingly talented man. He died today, leaving behind an incredible legacy. The music that he played required actual skill, unlike today's crappy noise that assaults my ears. Since learning to play guitar, I've been able to appreciate music for the talent it takes to create it. BB King had a gift that he used to show the world just what somebody could do on the guitar. His style incorporates some quick picking and incredible vibrato that obviously took years to master, which he recreated show after show. Kids today are skinny trolls that press a space-bar and dance around on stage like kids trying to get water out of their ears. If there were more people like BB King, music would be an entirely different concept. You wouldn't just listen to music, you would experience it.
